    On June 20, 2025, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding incorrect staff-to-child ratios. An investigation was conducted on June 27, 2025. Based on interviews and documentation reviewed, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint regarding incorrect staff-to-child ratios. LS #1 interviewed six staff members separately, five of whom stated they maintained the correct staff-to-child ratio on June 20, 2025, and one staff member stated they were not present. LS #1 reviewed the attendance records for all classrooms, which showed all classrooms had maintained the correct staff-to-child ratio.

Based on observations of classrooms, interviews with staff, and a review of attendance records, this complaint is substantiated for incorrect staff-to-child ratios. LS #1 observed two classrooms out of correct staff-to-child ratio while conducting the investigation.     The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on February 2, 2023, regarding allegations staff are not cleaning and disinfecting the toys as required, children are not washing their hands after eating, the center is not notifying the families when children had been exposed to a contagious disease, and lack of supervision. An unannounced visit was conducted on February 7, 2023, to investigate the complaint.     The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on October 24, 2022, regarding allegations of cleaning supplies not being used in a safe manner, staff not following the requirements for infant feeding, and staff not accurately documenting an infant feeding log. An unannounced visit was conducted on October 31, 2022, to investigate the complaint. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint because through interviews and documentation the center was able to demonstrate all safety requirements were followed when mixing the bleach and water solution and the staff know and follow the requirements for feeding and documenting the feeding of infants.

    A complaint was received on February 18, 2022, regarding the allegation of Ms. Wright being disrespectful to a parent. An unannounced visit was conducted on February 21, 2022, to investigate the complaint. The complaint is substantiated because Ms. Wright told Parent #1 that the unborn child would not be welcomed in the center due to the parent s previous behaviors and this interaction caused a heated conversation between Ms. Wright and Parent #1.

    A complaint was received on December 2, 2021, regarding multiple allegations in the Infant classroom. An unannounced visit was conducted on December 9, 2021, to investigate the complaint. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint because the staff members were able to show documentation stating that the families provide a schedule for feeding and all of the food given to each child and that the children are fed on demand. The staff members were also able to show documentation that the children are changed every two hours or more often if needed. The staff members stated that all children wear jackets or sweaters outside when needed and, that the center has extra if a child does not …
