An investigation was conducted on November 6, 2024. On June 20, 2023, a report was received by the Child Abuse and Neglect Report Line and not accepted for investigation by the Institutional Abuse Unit (IAU). On June 23, 2023, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received the complaint and accepted it for investigation regarding improper discipline and forcing children in care to eat. An investigation was conducted on June 29, 2023. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint based on interviews with staff members at the facility. All staff members, who were interviewed separately, stated they have never witnessed any staff members yelling at children or pulling the arms of a child in care.
