  On March 27, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding allegations of staff using a drug during the work day that could adversely affect job functions. An investigation was conducted on April 9, 2024. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because all staff members interviewed denied witnessing, seeing, or smelling marijuana in the facility or parking lot. The parking lot was observed during the investigation during the time staff take lunch breaks, and no staff members were witnessed smoking in their cars. They were unaware of the mulch incident because they did not observe it and Child #1 did not complain. They responded promptly to the rough playing to prevent harm to Child #1.
