On October 9, 2025, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding caring for children in unlicensed space, lack of security to prevent access to children, staff using cell phones while caring for children, lack of supervision, improper mixing of ages, lack of appropriate materials, and failing to notify OCCL within one business day of an event causing damage that affects the center s ability to operate safely. An investigation began on October 10, 2025, and concluded on October 23, 2025. On February 28, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding a lack of respectful communication with a parent's request for information. An investigation was conducted on February 29, 2024. Based on the results of this investigation, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because the center administrator denies being disrespectful when communicating with Parent #1. The text messages provided show the center administrator was respectful and asked if the information requested by Parent #1 was still needed. The administrator stated she received no reply. OCCL contacted Parent #1 who stated she never received such a text message.
