On February 2, 2024, the complaints were also sent to the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) and accepted for investigation regarding improper discipline. On February 5, 2024, IAU notified OCCL they could begin its investigation, but the IAU case has not yet closed due to pending criminal charges against Staff #1. On November 2, 2022, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding the allegation of the center not following the requirement of receiving the child s current health appraisal including the results of the blood lead screening within one month of the child s start date. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint because the Owner Jamie Schneider provided documentation stating per the custody agreement both parents are required to give permission for any medical procedures for Child #1.
