There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because Administrator #1 stated Parent #1 was immediately notified of the bite and was given a copy of the accident/ injury report during pick up. This signed report was viewed. During the visit, the center did not smell, and all classrooms complied with the supervision of children.

The Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint on January 30, 2024, regarding improper discipline. An investigation began on February 2, 2024, and concluded on February 15, 2024. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for improper discipline because the administrator and Staff #1 stated the thinking chair is not time-out. It is voluntary and a way for the children to regroup themselves without time limits put into place by staff. Staff #1 denied grabbing Child #1 in the lower back and stated she grabbed Child #1 by the loop of his pants, while he was crawling under the chair, she was sitting in to prevent him from hurting himself.
