On February 23, 2023, a complaint was called into the Child Abuse and Neglect Report Line and accepted for investigation by the Institutional Abuse Unit (IAU) and the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL). On June 15, 2023, OCCL was cleared to begin their investigation by IAU Investigator Michelle Rogers and the Delaware State Police. OCCL conducted an unannounced visit on June 16, 2023. An investigation was conducted on November 2, 2021. There is no evidence to substantiate because documentation showed the parent received a copy of the parent handbook that contained this policy and the facility s policies do not violate DELACARE Regulations.
