On August 16, 2022, a complaint was called into the report line and was accepted for investigation by Institutional Abuse Unit (IA). On August 17, 2022, OCCL received the complaint regarding inappropriate care of children. An investigation began on September 20, 2022, and concluded on September 21, 2022. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for inappropriate care of children. Based on statements of staff interviewed the children are being appropriately cared for by staff, no parents, staff, or children have ever expressed concerns and the video observed by IA determined there was no evidence to substantiate sexual abuse.
