On June 7, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint regarding a lack of supervision and improper discipline. An investigation was conducted on July 24, 2024, and January 13, 2025. Based on the results of this investigation, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because Staff #1 and the other two staff members who were interviewed all stated they have never observed Staff #1 use improper discipline with children. Also, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for a lack of supervision because Staff #2 stated children are always properly supervised while using the bathroom.

On July 16, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding not following illness exclusion policies. An investigation was conducted on July 24, 2024. Based on the results of this investigation, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because Administrator #1 stated Child #1 was permitted to return to care with a doctor s note. Administrator #1 also provided Licensing Specialist #1 and Licensing Specialist #2 with a copy of the notice provided to parents regarding the hand, foot, and mouth disease at the center.
