An investigation began on February 13, 2025, and concluded on February 21, 2025. On February 19, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint regarding concerns about the indoor temperature being under the required minimum temperature of 68 degrees. This complaint is unsubstantiated with concern. When checked by an OCCL thermometer used for verifying room temperatures, the temperature in the infant and one-year-old classrooms registered 68 degrees. The two two-year-old classrooms thermometers read 63 degrees, but the Licensing Specialist s thermometer registered 68 degrees. On November 24, 2021, the Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint regarding children having access to unsafe areas or conditions, no accident or injury reports being provided to parents, posted curriculum not being followed, volunteers who were not fingerprinted or qualified being left alone with children. Based on the results of this investigation there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because LS Flowers observed the center to be free from hazards and did not observe children to have access to unsafe areas.
