    On January 23, 2023, the Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint regarding improper discipline. An investigation was conducted on January 30, 2023. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint because the owner, administrator, and all staff present were individually interviewed and all stated Ms. Nokes does not yell at the children, no staff member has ever hit a child with a broom, and no staff member has ever sat on a child.

However, this complaint is substantiated because Ms. Nokes admitted the center had two cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth and only the parents of the infected children were aware of the disease.
